EVENTS NEWS
British Pest Control Association (BPCA) has announced a new stakeholder conference for 2027, alongside PPC Live on tour dates .

PestAware Summit 2027 will bring together people responsible for pest risk across public health, housing, food safety, hospitality, hygiene and conservation.
The Summit will ensure that BPCA reaches the people most affected by pest risk and champion the value of professional pest management and using a BPCA member.
Taking professional pest management to new audiences
Unlike PPC Live, the PestAware Summit is designed mainly for clients, decision-makers, specifiers and professionals working in related sectors.
The conference will have four streams:
- Public health and communities
- Hospitality and hygiene
- Food security and resilience
- Conservation and biodiversity.
Delegates are expected to include environmental health officers, local authority and housing teams, public health professionals, food businesses, auditors, facilities managers, hospitality professionals and conservation organisations.
The event takes place at East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, on Wednesday, 17 March 2027.
PestAware Summit gives us something different. It lets us welcome new audiences, connect them with BPCA members and make sure professional pest management is part of discussions about public health, food, housing, hospitality and the environment.
Lauren Day, BPCA Events Manager
Talks, panel discussions and case studies will focus on the practical challenges these audiences face.
An exhibition will introduce delegates to BPCA members, professional pest management products and services, and allied organisations.
Although the Summit is not primarily aimed at pest professionals, BPCA members will be central to the programme.
Rosina Robson, BPCA Chief Executive, said:
BPCA already runs award-winning events for members and the pest management community. But members have also told us they want BPCA to take the case for professional pest management directly to their customers, allied sectors and decision-makers.
Rosina Robson, BPCA Chief Executive
“PestAware Summit is our answer. It will bring the people who manage pest risk together with BPCA members, giving our sector a platform to share its knowledge and show how professional pest management has changed.
“Our members support almost every part of society, including healthcare, housing, food safety, hospitality, conservation and critical infrastructure. Professional pest management prevents an estimated £1.9 billion in direct costs to the UK each year, but too often its value is only noticed when something goes wrong.
“This is our chance to make that work visible and help more organisations understand why getting pest management right matters.”
Professional Pest Control (PPC) Live: On tour - eight locations annouced
Rather than doing one massive trade show in 2027, BPCA Training Forums have been completely revamped into our PPC Live: On tour.
These full-day, hands-on events will have the same CPD point available to earn as the 2025 version of PPC Live, but will be more local and more targeted to what professionals want in each area.

Each PPC Live On Tour event will include:
- Practical afternoon sessions
- Live debates and panel discussions
- Expert speakers covering topics requested by pest professionals in the region
- More CPD points to earn
- More time for networking
- An exhibition of pest management manufacturers and distributors.
PPC Live will remain free for all pest professionals, with breakfast and lunch provided.

Lauren Day, BPCA Events Manager, said:
“I’m excited to take the best parts of PPC Live on tour. Our busy events schedule will give pest professionals around the UK easier access to practical sessions, panel debates, networking and the chance to speak directly with manufacturers and distributors.
Registration will open in autumn 2026. Places will be limited, so early booking is recommended.
BPCA will continue to offer a range of free-for-all Digital Forums, and member-only technical webinars and debates, so you’ll have plenty of ways to earn your CPD in 2027.
